| Design and salient features : |
Torque up to a particular level can be transmitted, after which, in the case of an overload in transmission, the clutch / torque limitor will slip, thereby protecting the system from damage. The overload clutch is a multidisc mechanical device where as the torque limitor is a spring applied mechanical device where as the torque limiter is a spring applied mechanical device
